Resistant gate chemical associated ocular high blood pressure levels (via presumed trabeculitis).
The Sn-0.7Cu hardness and shear strength increased significantly with 1.5 wt.% Bi addition in reflowed and after isothermal annealing conditions.Composite laminated materials have been largely implemented in advanced applications due to the high tailorability of their mechanical performance and low weight. However, due to their low resistance against out-of-plane loading, they are prone to generate damage as a consequence of an impact event, leading to the loss of mechanical properties and eventually to the catastrophic failure of the entire structure. In order to overcome this issue, the high tailorability can be exploited to replicate complex biological structures that are naturally optimised to withstand extreme impact loading. Bioinspired helicoidal laminates have been already studied in-depth with good results; however, they have been manufactured by applying a constant pitch rotation between each consecutive ply. This is in contrast to that observed in biological structures where the pitch rotation is not constant along the thickness, but gradually increases from the outer shell to the inner core in order to optimise energy absorption and stress in post-impact residual energy of 111%. The absorbed energy was similarly reduced (-44%), and greater mechanical strength (+21%) and elastic energy capacity (+78%) were demonstrated in the three-point bending test. The need for diverse materials has emerged as industry becomes more developed, and there is a need for materials with pores in various industries, including the energy storage field. However, there is difficulty in product design and development using the finite element method because the mechanical properties of a porous material are different from those of a base material due to the pores. Therefore, in this study, a Python program that can estimate the equivalent property of a material with pores was developed and its matching was verified through comparison with the measurement results. For high-efficiency calculation, the pores were assumed to be circular or elliptical, and they were also assumed to be equally distributed in each direction. The material with pores was assumed to be an orthotropic material, and its equivalent mechanical properties were calculated using the equivalent strain and equivalent stress by using the appropriate material property matrix. The material properties of a specimen with the simulated pores were measured using UTM, and the results were compared with the simulation results to confirm that the degree of matching achieved 6.4%. check details It is expected that this study will contribute to the design and development of a product in the industrial field. The purpose of this paper is to describe the variability of soil rheological properties based on research carried out using load tests of ground anchors under complex geotechnical conditions. The heterogeneity of soil should always be considered when designing geotechnical constructions. In the present case, the earthwork created at the Warsaw Slope revealed an embankment of anthropogenic origin, located in a geologically and geomorphologically complex area of the Vistula valley slope. Excavation protection was anchored mainly in soils of anthropogenic origin. When the acceptance tests of the ground anchor were completed, the subsoil randomness was confirmed using nondirect, geostatistical methods. A standard solid rheological model with nonlinear fitting to the data was used. This model was established to describe the creeping activity of the ground anchor more accurately. The characteristics of man-made embankments were described using the parameters obtained with the rheological model of the subsoil. In the case of fastenings on rock, as a result of the variability, it is quite difficult to make a preliminary assessment of the load-bearing capacity of rock as a base material. This paper therefore investigates which rock parameters next to an anchor position have an influence on the load-bearing capacity. For this purpose, tests are carried out on post-installed anchors in different lithologies in eastern Austria. It can be shown that the joint weathering has an influence on the load-bearing capacity of post-installed anchors and conclusions can be made about joint weathering by means of rebound hammer. Rebound values can therefore also be used to draw conclusions about the rock quality as a base material for post-installed anchors. Nevertheless, a combined optical assessment of the base material is recommended as an adequate method.Riveting is widely used in aircraft manufacturing. The strap butt joint is often used in the aircraft's main bearing area such as the aircraft docking area. The connection quality affects the reliability and safety of the aircraft directly. To study the effect of the rivet position on the connection quality of the strap butt joints, this paper analyzed the distribution of stress around the rivet hole at different positions by the finite element method, and then further analyzed the influence of the different rivet layouts on the connection quality of the strap butt joints by experiments. The static load tensile failure test of the joints was carried out, and the obtained tensile strength and failure mode of the strap butt joints showed that the main static tensile failure form of the single strap butt joint is that the whole rivets is sheared and the connecting sheets are separated. By changing the layout of different rivets, the connection strength can be maximized by reducing the outer row spacing (ORSD) of rivets. The results can be used for reference in the design of the riveting structure of aircraft panels.A novel simulation method of microtopography for grinding surface was proposed in this paper. Based on the theory of wavelet analysis, multiscale decomposition of the measured topography was conducted. The topography was divided into high frequency band (HFB), theoretical frequency band (TFB), and low frequency band (LFB) by wavelet energy method. The high-frequency and the low-frequency topography were extracted to obtain the digital combination model. Combined with the digital combination model and the theoretical topography obtained by geometric simulation method, the simulation topography of grinding surface can be generated. Moreover, the roughness parameters of the measured topography and the simulation topography under different machining parameters were compared. The maximum relative error of Sa, Sq, Ssk and Sku were 1.79%, 2.24%, 4.69% and 4.73%, respectively, which verifies the feasibility and accuracy of the presented method. The microstructural morphology in additive manufacturing (AM) has a significant influence on the building structure. High-energy concentric heat source scanning leads to rapid heating and cooling during material deposition. This results in a unique microstructure. The size and morphology of the microstructure have a strong directionality, which depends on laser power, scanning rate, melt pool fluid dynamics, and material thermal properties, etc. The grain structure significantly affects its resistance to solidification cracking and mechanical properties. Microstructure control is challenging for AM considering multiple process parameters. A preheating base plate has a significant influence on residual stress, defect-free AM structure, and it also minimizes thermal mismatch during the deposition. In the present work, a simple single track deposition experiment was designed to analyze base plate preheating on microstructure. The microstructural evolution at different preheating temperatures was studied in detail, keeping process parameters constant. The base plate was heated uniformly from an external heating source and set the stable desired temperature on the surface of the base plate before deposition. A single track was deposited on the base plate at room temperature and preheating temperatures of 200 °C, 300 °C, 400 °C, and 500 °C. Subsequently, the resulting microstructural morphologies were analyzed and compared. The microstructure was evaluated using electron backscattered diffraction (EBSD) imaging in the transverse and longitudinal sections. An increase in grain size area fraction was observed as the preheating temperature increased. Base plate preheating did not show influence on grain boundary misorientation. An increase in the deposition depth was noticed for higher base plate preheating temperatures. The results were convincing that grain morphology and columnar grain orientation can be tailored by base plate preheating. The influence of the rapid solidification technique and heat treatment on the martensitic transformation, magnetic properties, thermo- and magnetic induced strain and electrical resistivity is investigated for the Cu doped NiMnGa Heusler-based ferromagnetic shape memory ribbons. The martensitic transformation temperatures are unexpectedly low (below 90 K-which can be attributed to the disordered texture as well as to the uncertainty in the elements substituted by the Cu), preceded by a premartensitic transformation (starting at around 190 K). A thermal treatment slightly increases the transformation as well as the Curie temperatures. Additionally, the thermal treatment promotes a higher magnetization value of the austenite phase and a lower one in the martensite. The shift of the martensitic transformation temperatures induced by the applied magnetic field, quantified from thermo-magnetic and thermo-magnetic induced strain measurements, is measured to have a positive value of about 1 K/T, and is then used to calculate the transformation entropy of the ribbons. The magnetostriction measurements suggest a rotational mechanism in low fields for the thermal treated samples and a saturation tendency at higher magnetic fields, except for the temperatures close to the phase transition temperatures (saturation is not reached at 5 T), where a linear volume magnetostriction cannot be ruled out. Resistivity and magnetoresistance properties have also been measured for all the samples.Coating of steel is a frequently applied approach to increase the resistance of moving machine parts towards abrasion, surface oxidation, and corrosion. Here, we show that plating circular saw blades with certain metals can help to reduce the electrical charging of wood dust during cutting, which has significant implications for occupational safety, healthcare, and lifetime of filter systems. With the example of beech wood planks, machine net energy consumption EV (J cm-3) and cumulated field strength E→V (kV m-4) as caused by electrically charged particles were compared for cutting of 10- and 20-mm deep grooves (800 mm length) using saw blades of different toothing (24, 60 teeth) and surface coating (Cu, Ag, and Cr). To ensure uniform feed per tooth (fz = 0.063 mm), saw blades were operated at different rotation speeds (4000 vs. 1600 rpm). The results demonstrate that the extent of electrostatic sawdust charging can be manipulated to a certain extent by the type of saw blade plating. Coating with chromium turned out to be most effective in shifting the electrostatic charge of the wood particles towards neutralization. Lowering of rotation speed using circular saw blades of higher toothing was an additional measure significantly reducing electrostatic charging of wood dust. Hence, cutting with a chrome-coated blade with 60 teeth can be specifically recommended as the reduction of electrical saw dust charging is not associated with higher machine power consumption.
