The Artifacts (Weapons) [ONGOING]
WEAPON - CHAOS CHAKRAMS

Chaos Chakrams

Description:
The Chaos Chakrams are a set of four versatile and unpredictable weapons that blend offense, defense, support, and mobility. They offer a range of functionalities, from chaotic aerial maneuvers to intricate elemental enhancements, all while maintaining total autonomy. The user’s mastery over the Chaos Chakrams allows them to manipulate the weapons in a way that creates a constant whirlwind of power, overwhelming enemies with their erratic movements and swift strikes.

Functions:

Autonomous Movement: Each Chakram can fly independently, providing support or defensive coverage. They can be dual-wielded with one or more acting autonomously as defensive barriers or secondary attacks. These chakrams can also be thrown, returning like boomerangs to the user after covering great distances.

Aerial Mobility: The Chakrams can serve as platforms or footholds mid-air, allowing the user to hover or step on them to traverse the environment. However, maintaining this aerial platform consumes mana steadily. A user-sized chakram as a mobile portal or platform costs significantly more mana than other uses.

Inlet-Outlet Portals: The Chakrams can transform into portals, extending the user's reach and abilities. The user can assign one Chakram as the inlet portal, with others acting as outlet portals to send attacks back or around unpredictably. These portals can move around to adjust attack directions and add an element of surprise. Additionally, the user can trick enemies by creating Mirage Portals—decoy illusions of portals that consume minimal mana.

Elemental Augmentation: Like other magical weapons, Chaos Chakrams have an affinity for all elements. They can be augmented with elemental properties, but as with other multi-elemental weapons, the elemental power is divided. This makes the Chakrams incredibly effective as support tools, enhancing attacks that pass through their portals.

Mirage Portals: Using the Mirage Portal function, the user can deceive opponents, making them believe a portal exists where none does. These illusions consume the least mana and can be switched quickly, making them useful for misdirection or distraction.

Special Charge Attack: When charged, the Chaos Chakrams glow brightly and unleash devastating attacks. Depending on the form (bladed or blunt) and elemental augmentation, they can cause chaos across the battlefield. For example, Fire-augmented blunt chakrams explode upon impact, while Wind-augmented bladed chakrams send shockwaves through the air. The charged chakrams can bounce between enemies, ricocheting with deadly precision.

Autonomous Support: The Chakrams can act as independent, mobile support tools, either deflecting attacks or teleporting them to another portal. The weapons move autonomously in sync with the user’s movements, creating an unpredictable defense and offense in tandem.

Appearance:
The Chaos Chakrams are visually striking, with a central handle and an exterior that can switch between bladed or blunt forms depending on the user’s needs.

When in motion, they leave behind glowing trails, which shift in color depending on the element they are augmented with.
When not in use, the Chakrams transform into plain bracelets, with two worn on each arm. When summoned, they float around the user or are held by them.

The center of each Chakram is hollow when acting as a portal, and when augmented with an element, the portal’s glow matches that of the element.

Crafting/Origin:
The raw materials for the Chaos Chakrams include four special bracelets and four unique runes, each infused with the power of a mage skilled in trickery and portal magic. The final piece is the magic of a worthy individual who has earned the right to wield the weapons after proving their mettle. The Chaos Chakrams can only be mastered by those who dedicate their body, mind, and soul to their craft.

Challenges:

Enemy Countermeasures: Although the Chakrams' portals are incredibly powerful, they cannot be used against the user, as the inlet-outlet portals automatically block any unintended uses. This makes them resistant to enemy attempts to turn the portals back on the user.

Mana Costs: Using the Chakrams as mobile portals or aerial platforms consumes a large amount of mana, especially for user-sized portals. Charging them for special attacks consumes moderate mana, while elemental augmentation requires a smaller amount. Managing the Chakrams' mana costs is critical to using them effectively.

Mastery Requirement: Mastery of the Chaos Chakrams is a profound challenge. The user must undergo rigorous mental and physical training to bind themselves with the weapons. This level of mastery allows the Chakrams to move independently in sync with the user, making them feel as though the weapons have their own consciousness.

Fact:
The Chaos Chakrams are particularly dangerous against enemies with precognitive or mind-reading abilities. Their autonomous, erratic movements and unpredictable nature make it impossible for such enemies to predict their next move, leaving them vulnerable to the Chakrams' deadly attacks. To an observer, it may seem like the Chakrams are alive, adapting to the user’s fighting style without direct commands.

Old details:

Crazy Chakrams is a brilliant and chaotic weapon, living up to its name with its trickery, speed, and erratic movement. The portal mechanics make it one of the most unpredictable weapons so far! Here's a refined version:

Crazy Chakrams (Trickster’s Quad-Chakram Arsenal)
Base Form: A set of four chakrams with a central handle, capable of offense, defense, support, and maneuverability.
Multi-Weapon Control:
Dual-wield or hands-free—unused chakrams autonomously support by attacking or defending.
All chakrams can be thrown like boomerangs, covering great distances before returning.
The exterior shifts between bladed (cutting) or blunt (impact) at the user’s will.
Portal Manipulation:
The chakrams can become hollow portals, allowing attacks, objects, or even the user to pass through.
Portals can extend attack range, absorb attacks to redirect them elsewhere, or teleport the user for mobility.
Portals catch and ricochet attacks between them, creating an endless cycle of relentless offense.
User can assign one chakram as an inlet (entry point) and up to three as outlets (exit points) for unpredictable attack angles.
Elemental Affinity:
Affinity to all elements, but multiple elements at once divide power evenly (same rule as All-Rounder and Unchained).
Unlike other weapons, elements act as power multipliers to attacks passing through portals, rather than altering their properties.
Autonomous Combat:
Chakrams move erratically around the user, deflecting or blocking attacks.
Can teleport attacks by absorbing them into a portal and launching them elsewhere.
Appearance & Summoning:
Central handle for gripping, bladed or blunt exterior (switchable).
Glowing trails when in motion, color changes based on elemental augmentation.
Transforms into four bracelets when concealed (two per arm).
Summoned into the user's hands or floating nearby, disappearing when de-summoned.
Crafting/Origin:
Crafted using four special bracelets and four runes, infused with magic from a Master Trickster Mage who specializes in portals and deception.
Only those who prove their worth can receive the final enchantment.
Challenges & Limitations:
Chakrams do not home in on targets, requiring precise aim or portal usage to land hits.
Anti-magic restrictions disable portals and elemental augmentation, but chakrams can still switch forms and move autonomously.
Portal mode consumes more mana than simple inlet-outlet portals.
Mastery is required—without control, their extreme speed and erratic movement can backfire on the user.

Portal Manipulation & Teleportation:
Chakrams can switch between three portal states:
Inlet-Outlet Portals – Attack extension & teleportation.
Mobile Portals – User and attacks can pass through freely.
Ricochet Portals – Redirect attacks continuously in an endless cycle.
Adaptive Switching: The user can instantly shift chakrams between portal states for swift repositioning and attack adjustments.
Example: The user moves through an inlet portal, exits an outlet portal, then instantly swaps the portals' roles to trap enemies or escape.
Customizable Configurations:
The user assigns how many chakrams act as inlet or outlet portals based on strategy.
Examples: 3 inlet, 1 outlet (3:1); 2:2; 1:3 or even two separate pairs of inlet-outlet portals while others act as mobile portals.
Portal security: Enemies cannot use the portals against the user—only the user decides what passes through.

Autonomous Combat – The True Chaos Effect:
Chakrams move erratically around the user, deflecting or blocking attacks.
Can teleport attacks by absorbing them into a portal and launching them elsewhere.
Ultimate Weakness: The user's own limitations—until they overcome them, at which point Crazy Chakrams become an unpredictable, untouchable force of chaos.
Appearance & Summoning:
Central handle for gripping, bladed or blunt exterior (switchable).
Glowing trails when in motion, color changes based on elemental augmentation.

Unique Tactical Advantage – Counter to Precognition & Mind Reading:
Crazy Chakrams are a natural counter to enemies with precognitive or mind-reading abilities.
Their unpredictable, autonomous movements require little to no intervention from the user, making them seem self-aware and adaptive.
Opponents who assume the user telepathically controls them are quickly overwhelmed, as the chakrams appear to "dance with death" on their own.
