Hello,
We were told in less than 24 hours about our flight problems , we are tourists from Canada me and my friend and staying in Zanzibar for 18 days to what we wanted to have a great experience of Africa. We unfortunately had a bad ending to the trip and wanted to ask the customer service desk in Nairobi for help however they gave us this email for further assistance. At 7:30pm our time we get a message saying our flight has been shifted to 5 hours earlier from Dar to Nairobi (Original flight time was 8:45pm) with the booking reference being Kenya Airways: 3J9PQX, it was very last minute and we had an original flight booked from ZNZ to Dar at 5:30 pm. (Photoshop) another 100$ each.. this last minute message forced us to book the earliest flight possible , which was flight link (real pic) and because this was the only airline they also had stirct baggage requirements and had to pay 10$kg and totalled 85$ usd for me and 83$ for my other acquaintance, and had to cancel all the plans we had for the night time , and had to run the errands for gifts late night for our family when we are back, and also cancel our plans of dolphin viewing in kimzimkazi. We also had a hard time with booking a taxi very early in the morning, had to pay more premium to get at the airport early. With the extra 12 hours we had to come earlier , we had a total flight time of 33 hours, fully stressed, no sleep and feel we … need help. And explain rest below



Delays , flight disruptions , going to the airport early to be safe, longer than expected flight time, had a good experience going and not so fun coming back, called and paid money , waited jn line for 1.5-2 hours. Send receipts of : 50$ taxi, cancelling plans for acitvies to pack early, cram the events at night too to pay for taxi, and remove the morning iternerary to rush for airport at 7am. Very exhausted and had to endure a 33 hour journey to Toronto. Had to pay 55 USD for quick luggage over weight as that was the only flight available.

With everything it totally to 300-400 USD and would like another 400-500 USD for the troubles. We really enjoyed our arrivals and would love if you could help us, as we are tourists from Canada and wanted to fly with an African airline

It’s already been hard on us, and we hope you understand our horrible situation and can help us fulfilling our request

Some of the “physical recepts” as there were many cash exhanges as listed below

For each person:
*Flight 40usd (100?)
*Baggage policy (85 Alan and 83 Abdul karim)
*taxis 50 usd each
(Maybe Ajubu for WhatsApp contact for charge for “dolphins”)
*forcing taxis for errands at late night price (50 usd)

300usd each


*disruptions with wait times, cancelling plans (cancelling, not feeling good, delay 3-4:30 and 11:30-12:30 on top of the trouble), and were planning to go to New York to do acitivites but since we arrived late we couldn’t risk it (900 usd)

Which we feel we deserve >650 usd. Each
