NTF in One-NDS Environment
NTF is designed to distribute the SOAP trigger messages from the One-NDS directory to both PGW and other notification endpoints.
It also distributes “cancel mobile subscriber” (canMSub) or “mssearch” messages. NTF supports point-to-multipoint and round robin dispatch policy. The PGW-DSA is also used for storing NTF Performance Management (PM) data.
The notification endpoints are configured on the NTF. It stores the registration information from different applications in the PGW-DSA.
NTF functions as a messaging service or hub for the SOAP messages or PGW in the case of CanMSub and mssearch to the NTF, then forwarded by the NTF, and finally received by the Application Receivers. After performing necessary actions or data checks, the notification endpoints send responses back to NTF.
The ADM graphical user interface (GUI) serves as an adm inistration point for the NTF, allowing NTF configuration to be modified at runtime.
