We knew it was coming , as the snapshot betas were becoming smaller and smaller. But Mojang has now declared it official. The Minecraft 1.18 release date with all Caves & Cliffs Part 2 features is scheduled to be released in the last week of November. Minecraft java will be available across every platform Minecraft supports and includes many new biomes, a revamped worlds generation and much more.
Minecraft 1.18 will be available on November 30. The Java Edition update will be accessible on Windows, Mac, Linux and Linux PCs. The Bedrock Edition will launch on – deep breath – PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X and S.
The update introduces new world generation and improved cave systems and candles. As was previously reported, certain features were pushed back from 1.18. They will not be included in 1.19 (also known to as The Wild update), as the developers have now confirmed.
Archaeology, bundles, and goat Horns, bundles, and goat "have been put on hold", as the devs explain in the announcement. "They have not been removed, we just needed to put them on the backburner for the moment..
