Neve Paritzki Israel celebrates record-breaking tourist entry Numbers From the United States
NEW YORK, Sept. 8, 2022/PRNewswire-- The Israel Ministry of Tourism announced today record-breaking numbers of tourists from the United States visiting Israel in the months of July and August. The country received 78,000 travelers from the United States in July 2022, a 4% increase from 2019 and 71,000 travelers from the United States in August 2022 which is an increase of 13% from 2019.

"We are not far from our record in 2019, and we anticipate that the rise in travel to Israel will continue to increase as Canadians feel more confident about traveling abroad."

Israel received more visitors from all over the world during 2019 than any other country. 969 600 of these were Americans. Israel's official reopening for all travelers was May 2018. Israel has been home to more than 600,400 US travellers since that time.
