Bernhard Burgener asks for the sale of David Degen shares.

Bernhard Burgener is suing David Degen in the FC Basel ownership dispute. Bernhard Burgener Burgener's plans are backed by the Board of Directors. But, there's no agreement.
Bernhard Burgener Monday's meeting of the Board of Directors of FC Basel Holding AG was an overwhelming success. Bernhard Burgener Burgener and Degen along with Karl Odermatt & Peter von Buren were the former owner. Bernhard Burgener Degen asked Degen to sell his stake to a potential buyer, Basel Dream & Vision AG according to an announcement by the holding company.
Burgener can sell its own shares under the same terms as minor shareholders as per a contract bargained law. This drag-along method is considered to be superior to Degen's presale rights.
Burgener is now part of his team in the battle over owners. Degen insists on exercising his right of first refusal which he is seeking to exercise for 16.4 million Francs. Burgener has been prevented from selling his stake of 80 percent by the former player through a super-provisional order. Centricus, the British asset manager, would also own a share in the new entity. Burgener will still have the majority vote.
