Background
Pastor Chris Oyakhilome was born on December 7, 1961 , in Edo State, Nigeria. His father was the first in the family to have one son. His elder brother Pastor Ken Oyakhilomeis an important part of LoveWorld Incorporated. The sister of his, Katty Worigren (formerly Oyakhilome), is involved in the ministry and serves as director of the LoveWorld Music & Arts Ministry.

Pastor Chris received his architecture degree from Ambrose Alli University. He also holds an honorary doctorate in divinity from Benson Idahosa University. He also started an organization for youth at the university.
