ect on clinical outcome using NIHSS tools in acute ischemic stroke patients.
Cardioembolic stroke had higher PWR compared with atherothrombotic stroke. PWR had a strong correlation with NIHSS. The higher PWR will provide higher NIHSS and PWR has positive effect on clinical outcome using NIHSS tools in acute ischemic stroke patients.
To investigate a hypothesised process model based on self-determination theory (SDT) in a population of people with type 2 diabetes. The model suggests that autonomy support from healthcare professionals is an important determinant of autonomous motivation and perceived competence in diabetes, which correlate positively in turn with wellbeing and negatively with HbA1c.
This cross-sectional study used baseline questionnaire data and HbA1c levels from a randomised controlled trial investigating the effects of a person-centred consultation program. The questionnaire used validated scales and items assessing autonomy support, wellbeing, motivation, self-care activities, diabetes distress and perceived competence. Pearson correlations were calculated, and mediation analysis was conducted by multivariate linear regression analysis.
116 participants completed the questionnaire. Autonomy support was significantly correlated with perceived competence and controlled motivation. Perceived competence correlated negatively with diabetes distress and positively with self-care activities. Diabetes distress correlated negatively with wellbeing. Controlled motivation correlated positively with autonomous motivation, which correlated positively with both wellbeing and self-care activities. Self-care activities correlated negatively with HbA1c.
As suggested by the hypothesised SDT process model, autonomy support, autonomous motivation and perceived competence are associated with better wellbeing and improved HbA1c.

Synthesis of terpineol is generally carried out by separation of α-pinene compounds from crude turpentine through fractionation and then hydrated (addition of water) with the help of acid catalysts. However, direct turpentine hydration without pre-fractionation process can be more beneficial from economic and process point of views. This study aims to investigate the effect of both single and mixed/combined catalysts towards terpineol yield. Combined strong and weak acid catalysts were required to obtain high feed conversion and terpineol yield. The selectivity of terpineol is then correlated to the solubility of a weak/organic acid. In this study, the highest yield of terpineol was 54.0 ± 8.2%-w/w using combination of formic acid and sulphuric acid.In photosynthesis, certain wavelengths of radiation are absorbed by photosynthetic pigments in plants, depending on the molecular structures of the pigments. Two main radiation wavelengths absorbed by plants for photosynthesis and biomass production are in the range of red and blue lights. Therefore, in addition to white light, observation applying the red and blue lights in plant researches gain great interest. The aim of this project is to compare the effect of three LED lights on the biomass production and copper remediation by previously-screened shoot cultures of Musa paradisiaca. The LED lights applied are arrangements of white, red, and blue LEDs, each arrangement having the same voltage of 12 V and the same power of 24 Watts. The shoot cultures were cultivated aseptically in 25 mL Murashige and Skoog agar media supplemented with 5 mg/L copper ions. Both parameters -the biomass production and copper concentration in biomass- determine the overall copper remediation by the shoot cultures from media. The results of this project show about 1.5-fold biomass production -expressed as growth index- was obtained upon the application of white light compared to that of the other two lights. Meanwhile, there is no significant difference in the concentration of copper in biomass upon the application of the three lights. Combined together, the application of white light still predominates for the overall copper remediation by the shoot cultures of Musa paradisiaca from media.Job analysis and employees' perception of justice have a significant influence on employee performance within an organization. This study examined the relationships between job analysis, job performance, and procedural justice among local employees in Jordan Industrial Estates. The literature demonstrated gaps in knowledge regarding the relationships between these variables in developing countries, which are intended to be filled by this study. 4EGI-1 The study drew from the pay model and equity theory. Data were collected with a survey questionnaire from 690 Jordanian employees working in three industrial estates. The data were analyzed through structural equation modelling (SEM) using SPSS and AMOS software tools. The results indicated to a significant positive relationship between job analysis and job performance, job analysis and procedural justice, and a positive relationship between procedural justice and job performance. Also, it is found that procedural justice mediates the relationship between job analysis and job performance. It is expected that the results of this study would have an impact on employee's performance through the fair implementation of one of the human resources practices, namely, job analysis, and thus organizational performance. Also, it contributes to the body of knowledge and supports the mediating role of procedural justice in decisions taken within the organization. This study aims to illustrate the impact of adopting Regulatory technology (RegTech) innovations in banks on money laundering prevention effectiveness using Bahrain as a case study. Bahrain has strived to position itself as the banking center of the Arabian Gulf, hence the results of this novel research are informative of the practices in the region. The primary data for this study was collected through a survey instrument distributed to 100 bankers working in Bahrain with expertise in compliance. The results of multivariate analysis indicate that transactions monitoring through RegTech and cost- and time-saving aspects of RegTech, drive money laundering prevention effectiveness to a highly statistically significant extent. However, electronic know your customer (KYC) technologies are insignificant as drivers. This research not only sheds light on the efficacy of RegTech but also raises general awareness concerning the adoption and integration of RegTech platforms for fighting money laundering. In particular, the findings provide specific insights about the deployment of RegTech capabilities in banks in regional banking centers of modest scale.
