Clothes:
- 1 pillow (I am going to bring two)
- 2 pillow cases (I am going to bring 4 for two pillows)
- 5 bath towels (no more than one beach towel)
- 5 wash cloths
- 1 mesh laundry bag and a small one for small items
- 3 p.j.'s
- 3-5 bathing suits
- 3-4 long pants ( at least one denim riding breeches)
- 10-12 t-shirts or polos
- 3-4 tank tops
- 2 long sleeve shirts
- 2 light sweatshirts
- 1 fleece jacket or pull-over/heavier sweatshirt
- 12-14 Pairs of Underwear
- 8-10 shorts ( quick-drying athletic shorts are great!)
- 7-10 pairs of socks ( may want some long socks for riding)
- toilet articles ( toothpaste, toothbrush, shampoo, conditioner, deodorant, liquid
bodywash or bar soap w/ soapdish
- Watch (inexpensive and waterproof)
- 2 Flashlights ( or head light )
SHOES:
- comfortable everyday shoes ( not flip-flops ) but instead Chacos, Crocs, or Tevas or
simailer style
- tennis shoes
- tennis shoes (old and ones that can get wet and muddy)
- sturdy hiking boots or shoes
- 1 pair of flip-flops for shower and around the cabin
Essential Camping Gear ( For Everyone!)
-rain gear/poncho
- poly fleece pullover/sweatshirt
- light jacket or windbreaker
- sleeping bag w/ nylon shell and polyester filling
- stuff sack (for sleeping bag)*
- sleeping pad*
- cap or hat (wool or fleece)
- 2-3 cheap water bottles for camping *
- eating utensils ( spoon, bowl, cup, fork, knife for camping)*
- bug repellent *
- sunscreen *
- tent cord ("P" cord)
- bananas *
MISC. ITEMS:
- tennis racquet and balls (essential if you want to play tennis)
- riding boots (tie shoes w/ low heel (3/4") rubber or paddock boots)
- riding helmet if you want to ride more than once a week
- pack and frame (you can rent you from the camp)
- poly-propelene long underwear (if you want to camp out)
- thick socks (for long camping trips during Main camp)
OPTIONAL ITEMS:
- small-medium sized stuffed animal(s)
- washable light blankets or quilt (NO sheets, camp provides it )
- small pictures from home with blue 'ticky tack' for the ones that go on the wall
- crazy creek chair (or simailer kind)
- egg crate mattress pad
- casual/comfortable sun dress for banquet at end of camp (primarily end of main camp)
- disposable cameras*
- reading material
- extra hair ties*
- extra batteries for flashlights*
- stamps and stationary*
