Setting up Trusona for Runescape using 2-Step Verification with TOTP
This guide details the steps needed to create Trusona as a 2-step authentication authenticator for verification using TOTP for Runescape

Installing the Trusona App
Before you can follow the steps below, you will need to install the Trusona App and register.
1. Download the Trusona App from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. 2. Follow the registration steps in the App. 3. Verify your email by clicking on the link from Trusona. 4. You're setup and ready to go!

2. Accessing Account Information
From the menu of navigation, click
My Account
3. Accessing the Authenticator Option
The
My Account
page, locate the
Authenticator
section and click on it.
If you click on the Authenticator tab, and are redirecting back to the same page, it means that you've either not verified your account or created a new account name. To proceed, you will need to complete these steps.
4. Basic Information on Authentication
You will be presented with general information regarding Multi-Factor authentication. Before proceeding, ensure you have the Trusona app installed on your mobile device. Click on
Enable Authenticator
and after that

5. Scan the QR Code
The screen will display an QR code.
1. Open the Trusona app, and tap on the Settings menu 2. Tap 2-step verification (TOTP) 3. Scan the QR code 4. Enter the number you can see in the Trusona app
6. Finalize
Enter the code from the app on the screen, then click
Next
. It should now show that the authenticator has been
Enabled
Complete setup! The next time you log in to Runescape and are asked to enter an One-time passcode You can use the Trusona app to sign in.
