5. on to the next Room Now

This guide will help you set it up and guide you through it in a short time. If you have any questions, post them in the comments below and I or a different person will be glad to assist you.



Event/Quest Location Start in daemonheim just next to the rewards trader Difficulty: Easy-Medium Estimated Duration; 15 to 20 minutes. Rewards: Salty Claws Hat Snowman dune emote, Golden Hammer



1. The start of this event is right near the rewards trader in daemonheim. 2. Talk with Thorvar Crittersmash and ask him about the Heimland Games. If you are willing to help him, he'll give you an item to keep and a bucket.



Tip: Throughout the event Always pick up the various items that you see on the ground, or you could have to redo certain levels.



For instance After Thorvar Crittersmash has teleported you to the room, you can pick the snowman's accessories from the ground. Then, go to the middle of the room and you will find the cut scene.



The Icicles will light up at once, then they will be lit up one at a moment in a specific order. You will need to: Remember and repeat that exact sequence that makes the Icicles light up. Remember that you will need to make use of some memory since the sequences differ for all players. Each time you tap the switch to change the sequence, a new one will be given. If you don't have the most reliable memories, you can draw an outline of the Icicles on a piece paper and mark it with numbers each time the sequence is displayed.



A door leading to the next space is unlocked after you've completed three successful sequences. When you enter the next room, you notice your character walking on all fours. A box that has alternating red and green colors can be located in the upper left corner of the screen. Your next task will be to; 4. You can sneak your way across the room towards the Angel while it's back is turned towards you. Then, touch the Angel when you are within the distance.



The upper left corner of the screen shows a box that alternates between green and red colors. If it's green, it is a sign that the Angel is watching you and you can safely stroll north towards it. Red indicates that the Angel can see your face, and, unless you are hiding behind a blanket or a snowman, it will teleport to the initial point of the puzzle. In other words, move north toward the next snow blanket after green is on, and stand still when red turns on. If the timing is right then press the Angel to advance to the next level.



5. Moving to the next room now you need to pick up the item on the ground and right-click on "Thorvar's bag", and click on the "use Thorvar's Bag trinklet" to transform into a seal, and be able to slide onto the icy ground as it's called.



When you're on ice, the action is pretty self-explanatory; dodge the holes in the ice and move to the portals, which will lead you yet to another room.



6. Now , your goal is to get through all the doors until you reach the next and last level.



The order of doors is different for every player. This may appear to be completely random, but I've observed for myself that I would get through doors more frequently than those I've previously walked through. Keep the track of which doors worked for your and which did not. There's still a bit of randomness in this method and it is likely to not perform 100% of the time, but I've found my odds to be considerably better than just going totally random with doors. Remember to pick up items that you find on the ground.



If you've made your way through all the doors then congratulations, you have only one challenge left before completing the 2010 xmas party!



The final room to be dealt with is far simpler than the first. Click the button to capture the crab wearing the Santa hat.



7. Pay attention to the fishing holes in the ice for crabs and keep your distance from the Ice. Click on the crab wearing a Santa hat as quickly as possible.



Now , you can talk to Thorvar Crittersmash/The man dressed as Santa again. Extrememining He will be awed by your courage and you'll discover that he actually is Santa.



Congratulations! You have now completed the 2010 Christmas event in Runescape. Santa Claus will give you rewards (see below) and also invite you to join the heimland games - a wonderful holiday-themed location with additional activities to be reviewed here.



Rewards: Salty Claws Hat , Snowman dune emote, Golden Hammer. Unlocked soundtracks and emotes that were released from the event include: Snowman dunes emote ;Seasonal sport Soundtrack,Seasonal games Soundtrack dramatic point emote as well as the freeze emote
