It achieves business goals by communicating effectively with business partners and stakeholders. Effective communication and collaboration are also necessary for running daily operations within the organization. Organizations use communication protocols. They are sets of rules or guidelines that people need to follow when communicating at the workplace.

The purpose of setting up an effective communication protocol is the following:

to promote meaningful information exchange among the people taking part in the communication
