" GURINDAM & SYAIR "
Gurindam adalah karya sastra lama yg berbentuk puisi yg terdiri dari 2 baru kalimat yg memiliki rima atau sajak yg sama.
Pengertian rima sendiri adalah persamaan bunyi puisi, baik diawal, tengah, dan akhir baris puisi. Rima mencakup byk hal, antara lain : onomatope (tiruan thdp bunyi spt /ng/), bentuk intern pola bunyi (aliterasi, asonansi, persamaan akhir, dll).
Lanjut, baris pertama pada gurindam merupakan baris syarat, masalah, persoalan/perjanjian. Sedangkan baris kedua merupakan jawab/akibat dri masalah/hal yg terjadi pada baris pertama.
Berbeda dgn pantun, gurindam hny memiliki 2 larik pd satu bait pantun, sedangkan pantun memiliki 4 baris dlm tiap bait.
ciri-ciri gurindam
1. Gurindan terdiri dari 2 baris tiap baitnya.
2. Tiap baris memiliki jmlh kata sekitar 10-14 kata.
3. Tiap baris memiliki hub sebab akibat.
4. Tiap barus memiliki rima/bersajak A-A, B-B, C-C, dst.
5. Isi/maksud dari gurindam ada pada baris kedua.
6. Isi gurindam biasanya berupa nasehat2, filosofi hidup/kata2 mutiara.
Macam-macam Gurindam
1. Gurindam Berkait
ーgurindam yg bait pertama berhubungan dgn bait berikutnya dan juga pada baris berikutnya.
2. Gurindam berangkai.
Adalah bentuk gurindam yg memiliki kata yg sama di setiap baris pertama baitnya.
SYAIR
Merupakan salah satu puisi lama (lagi) yg berasal dari arab yaitu Syi'ir atau Syu'ur yg artinya perasaan yg dalam.
"Ciri-ciri syair"
1. Setiap bait terdiri atas 4 baris.
2. Setiap baris terdiri atas 8-14 suku kata.
3. Bersajak a-a-a-a.
4. Semua baris adalah isi.
5. Bahasanya berupa kiasan.
Macam-macam Syair
1. Syair Panji
→ menceritakan kejadian, keadaan ataupun orang2 yg ada dalam istana.
Maksudnya, syair yg berisi orang2 yg tinggal di istana (keluarga kerajaan)
2. Syair Kiasan
→berisi perumpamaan thdp suatu peristiwa tertentu.
Contoh : "seperti pungguk merindukan bulan" yg bermakna ttg org yg gagal dlm percintaan.
ー3. Syair Romantis
→berisi tentang percintaan.
4. Syair Sejarah
→berdasarkan suatu peristiwa, tokoh/tempat yg bersejarah. seperti tempat peperangan, dll.
5. Syair Agama.
Dibagi menjadi 4, yaitu :
・Syair Sufi
・Syair ttg ajaran Islam
・Syair riwayat cerita nabi
