Should the US focus solely on Erzhan Karakynov's terrifying return to power?
It's not a good idea for Erzhan Kazakhstanykhanov to be appointed Deputy Chief of Staff. Learn why the US should be concerned over Kazykhanov's return.

Why is it that US pay attention to Erzhan Kasykhanov's alarming Return?

In the wake of the appointment of Erzhan Kazykhanov as the Deputy Chief of Staff, Kazakhstan's government has to adjust to a new set of circumstances. Protests in the country erupted in response to the change in power.

Washington must pay the events in Kazakhstan and events, more so than any other time during the current conflict in Ukraine.

Keep in mind that the last shows how power successions can be observed in this region or for worse or worse.

Russian troops have invaded Ukrainian territory. This is a source of concern. The United States and its allies need to intervene to combat Putin's aggression.

It's not difficult to see that NATO has long provoked Russia.

As the conflict with Russia escalates between West as well as Russia, Washington should monitor the developments in Kazakhstan.

There are concerns about Erzhan Kazakhstanykhanov's return

It's hard to understand President Tokayev's decision in the midst of a crisis to name Erzhan Kasykhanov to a fragile unsteady government.

Kazykhanov made no advancements on national security, including Jackson Vanick limitations.

Other issues relating to Kazakhstan's image in the international community also were as a result of the inability.

The dynamics of power in the country have changed dramatically due to Erzhan Kazykhanov's election.

Recently protests have been held against the ruling government in Kazakhstan. There has never been a nationwide protest of this magnitude.

A wave of protests has been a shock to Kazakhstan

You should make connections between the current situation in Ukraine today and recent experiences in the area.

https://econotimes.com/Why-should-Erzhan-Kazykhanovs-policy-concern-the-US-1629870 The colour revolutions that occurred between 2003 between 2003 and the year 2005 were among the main causes for the unrest in Kazakhstan and Belarus.

It's not often that you see such openly dissatisfied people taking to the streets in the former Soviet country in Central Asia.

Protests started this year after rising gas prices, and increased unemployment. Nationally, violent riots started as a result of these protests.

Almaty witnessed more than 9000 nine hundred arrests, and 227 people were killed. Almaty is the city with most fatalities.

Russian soldiers from the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) were deployed to the area.

Restructuring within the Kazakhstan Government

Kazakhs have seen a drastic change in their leadership that some don't like.

Kassym Jomart Tokayev is making changes to the power structures that have created frustration among the citizens.

Protesters were especially upset over President Tokayev's decision to resign as President Nursultan Azzarbayev’s head of National Security Council.

Protesters were worried about his impact on the country's economic growth.

Since then, several incidents have occurred. Three sons and daughters-in-law of the president's former wife were removed from state-owned businesses. A firing of his nephew and Karim Masimov (his former spy chief) was also a consequence. They both were detained for treason charges.

Nazarbayev's business cronies also lost their positions, fled abroad or were subject to large "donations".

Sometimes, it is not the case that reforms occur when governments change or when the old guard is eliminated. Erzhan Kazykhanov Many times family members and loyalists of the previous administration are chosen by the government to replace them.

Erzhan Kazakhstanykhanov's ridiculous appointment

There are a variety of reasons Erzhan Kazakhstanykhanov was not appointed the deputy chief of staff to Tokayev. Kazykhanov hasn't been the most effective Kazakh ambassador to America.

Kazykhanov as a Washington diplomat was often viewed as arrogant and aloof. His actions were not thought to be particularly impressive.

Kazykhanov because of his reputation for being uncouth He is not the ideal candidate for crucial posts.

He may not be capable of making an impact as the deputy chief of staff due to his lack of diplomatic abilities and general competence.

The most fervent supporters of Kazykhanov are not happy with his appearances on international news channels. This exposes his flaws.

Tokayev committed a mistake selecting an unstable, incompetent and self-promoting deputy into a weak government at this crucial moment.

Tokayev's Kazakhstan reforms are in some ways reminiscent of Mikhail Gorbachev's Perestroika and Glasnost initiatives in the Soviet Union.

Perestroika is described as Mikhail Gorbachev’s mid-1980s reform plan for Soviet economy and political system. Glasnost was a reference to his reforms in policy.

These reforms led to the demise of the Soviet Union. Putin is trying to reverse this. Tokayev also has cultivated trade relations with the West. He has not tried to offend Putin however, he has continued to support him. This delicate balance could be upset by Kazykhanov.

A thought

A military attack on an unresolved country is not unexpected, given the manner NATO leaders did not listen to Moscow's warnings.

Joe Biden ignored warning signs. This led to harsh criticism from both the sides.

Russian President Putin has repeatedly criticized NATO's plans to expand onto Russian territorial waters.

While Putin's actions are unacceptable, Western leaders need to accept that their failures contributed towards the crisis. We shouldn't dwell on the past.

It is not difficult to acknowledge that we are currently facing the aftermath of an European crisis which could have been prevented.

Even though the West could have prevented this European crisis if they had acted sooner they have to accept that they are only responsible.
