Novel - war and peace ( leo tolstoy) - live of russian socialites in the 19 century, (spiritual biography) french invation(love) concern of life in russian society (peace). war is destructive and miserable but can be good in unity and equity.
short story - 21 men and a girl (maxim gorky) 21 poor bakers finding love and 16 years old girl who's always asking the things they create. theme: social realism (hard reality of life like labor, poverty, etc.)
poetry - the 12 (alexander blok) the best poem by the author but the readers says otherwise. march of the 12 gloshivic(communist) in petrograd. a lot of reasons why they dislike the poem, religious symbolism (12 disciples), the authors inability to explain the poem itself, diverse culture, language, and color.
