Why AP CSA sucks:
Teacher doesn't teach anything, and expects us know everything that's going on in the class without telling us anything.
Gives us tests over topics we never learned about. When we all fail, he says it's our fault for not studying or paying attention in class.
Accuses students of doing things they didn't do and the teacher gives extreme punishments for the littlest and stupidest things.
- Sends students to the principal for making jokes and menial tasks like pretending to throw air.
- Calls students parents for doing the smallest things such as a mini macarena with only hand movements, no arm movements whatsoever. (and not disrupting anything while doing so)
- Turns off the audio on everyone in class's computer because one person had their headphones malfunction, like sound playing for less than a second through the computer's speakers while the headphones are plugged in.
We use an online learning resource (my.pltw) that doesn't teach anything, makes us do pointless tasks, and just throws you headfirst into things we have never learned before. Even the teacher thinks it's dumb, but continues to use it.
Teacher shows favoritism towards certain students and sexism in favor of females.
