Google: proscrire recherches "langage naturel". "Je cherche un restaurant romantique à Bordeaux" = non. seuls mots "restaurant", "romantique" et "Bordeaux" pertinents
Le guillemet : rechercher séquence de mots. Par exemple, "Francetv info" = évite phrases où ces termes apparaissent sans aucun lien entre eux.
étoile : si vous ignorez l'un des mots séquence recherchée, le remplacer par signe *. Par exemple, vous ne vous rappelez plus si Sisyphe fait référence à un mythe ou à un supplice ? Recherchez simplement "le * de Sisyphe".
tilde : faire appel à synonyme dans vos recherches. En cherchant "~légende de Sisyphe", le mythe devrait lui aussi affleurer.
chercher un fichier et non texte: limiter résultats requêtes à un type de document => document Word ou Excel, PDF, ou animation Flash => faire précéder requête par "filetype:" suivie de l'extension du type de fichier recherché.
Google : pour copier une page à un instant donné =>lancez recherche Google. Une fois page choisie, cliquez sur flèche grisée à droite du résultat => aperçu de page apparaît. Sous son titre, cliquez sur le lien "en cache" = attribuer adresse à page à l'instant T. ajouter ce lien à vos favoris pour la retrouver à tout moment.
remonter temps: moteur spécialisé dans pages archivées, Web Archive. Entrez URL du site puis choisissez date.
