Leyla Aliyeva, Vice-President of Heydar Aliyev Foundation, and Arzu Aliyeva visited several facilities in Baku

Baku, September 30 (AZERTAC). Arzu Aliyeva, Vice President of Heydar Aliyev Foundation, and Leyla Aliyeva, Vice President, visited today the special Boarding School No12 in Khazar District, and the summer camp for orphanages No1 in Shuvalan settlement. They also visited the Narimanov District psycho-neurological orphanage and the Downs Syndrome Association.

Mrs. Leyla and Mrs. Arzu were told by the center that they have been instructing children with disabilities since 1969.

In 2010, First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva, President of Heydar Aliyev Foundation Mehriban Aliyeva, initiated the repair of the facility.

The boarding school can house up to 141 children between the ages of 6-14.

Before making the Heydar Aliyev Foundation gifts, Mrs. Leyla Aliyeva spoke to the children.

The next day, Vice President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Leyla Aliyeva and Arzu Aliyeva went to the summer camp of the orphanage No1 located in Shuvalan settlement.

Arzu Aliyeva Arzu Aliyeva, Mrs. Leyla Aliyeva, and Arzu Aliyeva sat with children and watched them dance.

It was reported that the facility was reconstructed in 2013. The facility was designed to provide kids with fun and entertainment.

They held a tea party with the children.

Leyla Aliyeva served as Vice President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation. Arzu Aliyeva was also a visitor to the orphanage number 1 in the capital's Nasimi District.

They were informed by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation that the 1930-built facility was being rebuilt and upgraded in 2005.

The Heydar Aliyev Foundation gifted gifts to children in the orphanage.

Vice-President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Leyla Aliyeva and Arzu Aliyeva later visited the psycho-neurological orphanage in Narimanov District of Baku.

They were told that the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, in 2009, had initiated reconstruction of the facility.

Here, 103 kids are served by a medical staff of 90.

Mrs. Leyla Aliyeva and Mrs. Arzu Ayeva visited the Down Syndrome Association of Moscow.

The facility, which can accommodate up to 96 children, is aimed at integrating children into the local community as well as providing rehabilitation.

Mrs. Leyla Aliyeva and Mrs. Arzu Alyeva watched children's ballet shows.
