23:00 sularında olağan devriyemizi Memur Jerold Bradford ile birlikte 1-ADAM-1 ekip kodu altında sürdürüyorduk. Idlewood'da bir yaralı olduğunun ihbarı 911 hattına düştü. İhbara yöneldik. Yaralının etrafında oluşan topluluk nedeniyle tarafımdan destek ekip talep edildi. Destek ekiplerin ardından araçtan iniş sağladık. Salazar Cortez isimli zanlı birini yaraladığını itiraf etti. Kişi kelepçelenerek üstü arandı. Herhangi bir kesici/delici materyale rastlanmadı. Kişiye tarafımda Miranda hakları okundu. Kişi suçunu itiraf ettiği halde sorgu talep etti. Kişinin sorgusu Memur Jerold Bradford tarafından alındı ve 303 suçundan dolayı tarafımca 16. kodese 80 gün (dk) DoC görevlilerine teslim edildi. Kişi maddi tazminat tutarını ödedi.
