To download the Minecraft Forge mod loader, go to Minecraft Forge We suggest that you select the installer-win (or installer if your OS is not supported). It is simpler to use.
Part 2 Part 2: Install Mod Loader. NOTE Before installing the Mod Loader, make sure you have the correct Minecraft version installed on your computer.
1. Raunge Open the installer to start installing. Click on the Install Client button, then click OK.
2. The installer will begin the process of patching versions and downloading any libraries required from the internet.
Note : If you are using a cracked launcher, it is high possibility that the installation process will fail. This guide will help solve the issue.
3. When you launch the Minecraft launcher, you will find that a profile named Forge is added to your profile list. You can delete the profile and create your own profile and select the Forge version manually.
Optional: You can remove the Forge profile, and then change the version name to whatever you like, but this require some extra skills which I will not cover here.
Part 3: Install Mod 1. Open the .minecraft folder within your AppData and check whether there is mods in the folder. If you don't find it, create one.
2. Google for some mods! I am currently using the Minimap mod. You must ensure that you have the right version of the mod installed, or it won't work!
Note: Before installing any mod, ensure you read the description, requirements, and help!
3. Cut/Copy and paste the mod (Usually in a .jar file) into the mods folder within .minecraft.
Part 4 - Loading mods into game Start the Forge Minecraft Version. The screen will show. This screen should show the number of mods that were installed plus 3 if it was installed correctly.
NOTE 1: You might discover that multiple mods are incompatible if you try to install them all at the same time. To determine if there are any incompatible mods, make sure you check their mod pages. NOTE 2: Install the mods one by one to determine which one will cause the game to crash. This is easier to troubleshoot many of the mod problem.
