So today i'm going to talk about thing, without which lots of people these days wouldn't imagine their lives - the Internet.
The Internet is the global system , it's the network of networks, that gives you an opportunity to get huge amount of various information, without spending weeks in libraries or waiting to get a letter form message from your friend. Maybe that's why it's such a big part of modern society.

Personally, I, use the Internet mainly to communicate with my friends. Even thought I love spending real, not virtual time with them or even write letters sometimes, but the Internet helps me to reach people fast and whatever I want.
Secondly, I choose the Internet as a main way to read articles about the topics I'm interested in. For example art, literature, cinema, psychology, photography and so on and so on.

Another reason why i use the Internet is because it's a great platform to get all of the information about coming events. So I can check what kind of things are happening around my area and choose ones I would like to attend at.
And of course, I use the Internet to listen to music and watch films, since I found this platform to be the easiest way to do that.

These days the Internet is also a source of news. That's why, in my opinion, it's important for every household to have access to it. People in a lot of different places firstly should be able to reach information about what's happening in the world, check various sources in case for example television (if they have one) doesn't translate completely right and objective content.

However, there's some dangers that the Internet users may face. For instance, cyberbullying. Usage of social networks gives people an ability to communicate with each other not only in a positive way, but also to spread nasty rumours, write rude comments and things like that.
To prevent cyberbullying, which usually involves children and teenagers, is important to make a safe and reliable environment for them to talk about what's happening. Then, if it's possible, find the contacts of the bullies and try to solve this problem personally, while making sure the victim feels supported and if the harasser is anonymous, just try to block and ban him, in order to make it more difficult to do these kind of things again.
Another serious danger of the Internet is online crimes. Since the Internet is a complicated system, full of sometimes hardly reachable networks, it gives an opportunity to commit crimes online. For example to sell guns, drugs, spread child pornography and things like that. Sadly, there's not a lot of ways for a regular person to control this. Just keep your computer neat and safe, don't try to find and of course share these kind of content online and leave the rest of the job for professional online crimes investigators.

So in conclusion I want to say, that the Internet is a great, easy way to get a lot of various information, communicate with others and basically do whatever you want, but in order to enjoy it without any uncomfortable and negative consequences, it's important to remember to be safe or if something happens, reach for help.
