- Ngày 25/2, em Trần Xuân Dung (học sinh lớp 9 trường THCS ở huyện Krông Púk - Đắk Lắk) tử vong ngay trước cửa lớp. Theo thông tin ban đầu, do đã có mâu thuẫn và từng đánh nhau nên khi Dung hỏi mượn sách, Nguyễn Thành Đạt không cho. Hai bên xảy ra cãi vã rồi Đạt rút dao đâm trúng tim của Dung.
-Do mâu thuẫn với nhau trên mạng xã hội Facebook, Lại Đức Thiện (học sinh lớp 9) và Phạm Đình Xuân (lớp 11), cùng ngụ tại TP Hạ Long - Quảng Ninh, đã gọi thêm bạn đến để “giải quyết” sau giờ tan học ngày 22/2. Thiện bị Bùi Đức Nam (bạn Xuân) đâm một nhát vào lưng. Nguyễn Khắc Chung (bạn Xuân) bị nhóm Thiện dùng tuýp sắt vót nhọn và dao đâm chém trọng thương.
-Vào tháng 9/2012, chỉ vì chen lấn trong lúc tan trường, một học sinh lớp 6 ở huyện Tịnh Biên - An Giang cũng đã lấy dao xếp đâm bạn học nhiều nhát...
