Make sure you read this for guidence on what you need to do:
In the continental army you are expected to be toured around when you join, and if you like it, then you will be a official soldier in the army along with the other young soldiers, plus, you shall be trained daily within the continental army. Once you reach the NCO role, it gets a bit trickier, you would have to attend a NCO training to work your way up to Ensign. Once you reached ensign, you must host atleast 15+ for Lieutenant.
Officer training:
Ensign: 10 trainings hosted (easiest)
Lieuteant: 15 trainings hosted
Captain: 20 trainings hosted
Major: 25 trainings hosted
Lieutenant Colonel: 30 trainings hosted
Colonel: 35 trainings hosted
Brigadier General: Must take a general test
Major General: Must show leading skills
Lieutenant General: 40 trainings hosted
