A physical or natural feature of the world is known as a Landform. Multiple Landforms can create a whole terrain, Landforms can include many features of the world like mountains, hills, rivers, volcanoes, and much more.

-Climate is affected by Landforms
(ex. two sides of a mountain and one side could be extremely hot and one cold, each side could be completely different temperatures, even the water. Also, the sides are called the "Windward Side" and the "Leeward Side". The Windward Side is the side of the mountain that receives wind, while the Leeward Side is the side that does not. The Windward Side also receives rain while the Leeward Side does not.)

-Plate Tectonics can cause mountains and volcanoes to form by...
Mountains: The two plates push together and elevate to create a mountain OR one of the two plates goes on top of the other and makes a mountain with the second plate under it.
Volcanoes: Volcanoes are formed the same way as mountains BUT the magma inside of them push the two plates so that there is a hole in the center of the mountain which then once the magma is under high pressure, the volcano erupts.
Major types of Landforms on earth include mountains, valleys, plateaus, glaciers, hills, loesses, plains and deserts.
