Hello, my name is Mehul Trivedi; I'd like to start by wishing you and your family a happy new year. My family and I live in chesapeake and I work at VA medical center taking care of veterans. I wanted to bring to your attention a concerning trend that I have experienced at checkered flag audi/land rover. I will keep this as brief as possible. I bought an Audi A8 from checkered flag in 2014. At the time of delivery we were given a cursory overview of the car and was told a more detailed hands-on session would occur a few days later, however a few days after delivery my salesman was let go/quit. There was minimal after sales support and we felt we were being 'passed down the line' since the sale was complete and the current salesmen had no vested interest to assist us since he didn't make the sale.
Fast forward to a few months ago, I brought the Audi in for a malfunctioning speaker & was quoted over $2000 for replacement. I advised the service dept this was covered under warranty and was told I was wrong and it was not covered. After contacting Audi directly and forwarding documents showing it was covered under warranty, the service was completed and the bill was $85, but why all the leg work on my end....
Despite these two events, just 2 weeks ago I put an order in for a 2018 Land Rover Disco with Mike Allen ( who is wonderful by the way) and Jessie Guiseppe, only to find out yesterday Jessie is no longer employed there. Purchasing 2 vehicles from you and both times the salesman being let-go during the sale does not inspire confidence as a customer. Despite other dealerships in Richmond, NoVA, and NC I have tried to be loyal to your dealership yet the deja-vu feeling of being dismissed is growing.
