Several hours ago I was sitting in my "Nyx" idly just outside Planet Curacao, along with [b]CV-Firestorm[/b] a "Zephyr" Class Mk II Colonial Carrier stationed out there and a Colonial "Nyx" VHF, piloted by [b]Alexander Sinclair[/b]. Shortly after, we've encountered an Outcast going by the callsign [b]Sickle[/b] who came close by. He was very provocative in his behaviour, obviously hoping to induce engagement and claim a bounty that has been put on our heads. Certainly my first call was to try and apply some diplomacy, especially since I heard something about a ceasefire with Outcasts. Immediatelly Captain of the [b]CV-Firestorm[/b] explained that it's the 101st that are said Outcasts and that the ceasefire does not apply to all unaffiliated pilots of Maltese Nation. That and as you might easily presume this [b]Sickle's[/b] attempts at provoking a fight rendered my try at keeping things civil useless making the situation hotter with every passing second. Finally I've decided to give him a fight he wanted, thus I've immediatelly landed on Curacao in order to resupply my ship for combat at hand. In the mean time Recruit [b]Kyrio Zaheen[/b] showed up and we've established secure communication channel. After flying out of Curacao, into the space surrounding the planet I approached and engaged [b]Sickle[/b] with the encouragement of [b]CV-Firestorm's[/b] Captain and the assistance of Recruit [b]Zaheen[/b] the enemy. [b]CV-Firestorm[/b] and Mister [b]Sinclair[/b] kept out of this fight untill [b]Sickle[/b] blasted [b]Zaheen[/b]. It is somewere around that time that the forcess outside of Curacao ([b]CV-Firestorm[/b] & [b]Sinclair[/b]) now enriched by a newcomer, going by the callsign [b]Rytlock[/b] found themselves under attack from unknown vessels belonging to the Nomads. Also at that time a Freelancer [b]Troy Kingston[/b] entered the stage of battle and suggested assisting [b]Sickle[/b], whom he called "his dear friend". He seemed absolutely okay with Nomads being there and reacted to their presence with jaw-dropping awe yet focused his hostility on Colonial Republic. He proposed to [b]Sickle[/b] to engage me. [b]Sickle[/b] refused, but right then [b]Sinclair[/b] entered my engagement with [i]Sickle[/i] and thus [b]Kingston[/b] too joined in, this time with [b]Sickle's[/b] approval, destroying [b]Sinclair's[/b] "Nyx" quickly. The battle between [b]CV-Firestorm[/b] & [b]Rytlock[/b] versus the Nomads raged. [b]Rytlock[/b] managed to destroy one of the alien aggressors while the remaining Nomads were at the verge of destroying [b]CV-Firestorm[/b]. At the time I found myself in shortage of the nanobots facing constant fire by sickle and devoid of assistance while also in range of Nomad sophisticated weapons. I've quickly decided it is time to retreat and proceided with engaging docking protocolts with Planet Curacao's docking ring while producing multiple evasive maneuvers to save myself from [b]Sickle's[/b] projectiles. Exactly at the time I was entering the atmosphere of the planet [b]CV-Firestorm[/b] was finally anihilated by the alien onslaught much to the joy of this [b]Kingston[/b] scum. I immediately made contact with [b]Kyrio Zaheen[/b] to make sure he's all right. First via the secure comms and shortly after personally after disembarking my Nyx on the nearest landing pad and heading to the OS&C Med Centre to rendezvous with [b]Kyrio[/b]. He turned out to be quite fine suffering only very minor injuries during few explosion of his Nyx and his planetary touchdown. I think he can consider himself quite lucky whic at the same time brings joy to my heart. Shortly after that I was called out by Rear Admiral [b]Felix Edwards[/b] whom I shortly briefed on the situation. From what I understand he then proceided to hunt down [b]Troy[/b] which resulted in outcome so far unknown to me.

We've regrettably failed to destroy [b]Sickle's[/b] fighter while suffering heavy casualties, because of the destruction of [b]Sinclair's[/b] & [b]Zaheen's[/b] "Nyxes" by those scumbags [b]Sickle[/b] & [b]Kingston[/b], but most of all because of the loss of [b]CV-Firestorm[/b] to the Nomad forces. I've managed to save my vessel completely thanks to the maneuver of tactical retreat I successfully employed, thus also preventing [b]Sickle[/b] from claiming his reward, yet still this is the only good news of this entire event and it is undoubtedly reneder pale in comparison to losses we have suffered.

What's your medical condition at the moment? Have you sustained any injuries?
Kyrio Zaheen: I am fine, thank the heavens. Just docked. Im heading off to Med Centre to get a full checkover while the engineers perform a total overhaul on my Nyx.
Dorian Ravenfell: That's affirmative, Kyrio. I'll run to the Med Centre right away. We'll rendezvous there. And after that I think bar will be the most suitable place... *Dorian smiles and then turns off his comms... shortly after Kyrio can see Dorian running towards him with a smile on his face*
Dorian Ravenfell: I'm really happy that you're fine, Kyrio.
Kyrio Zaheen: Me too. Rough first week.

The technicians say my Nyx sustained no heavy damage.
Felix Edwards: Okay. I will take care of this scumbag ion stormer. *laughs* Alright. You want to take him, Dorian?
Dorian Ravenfell: That's a negative Admiral, it'll be two hours untill engineers will prepare my Nyx for active duty and I'm staying with Kyrio in the meantime. He needs someone at his side in the Med Centre.
