He was born on the 14th of January in 1966, in Büyükçekmece Istanbul. He studied faculty of economy at Izmir Dokuz Eylül University.
He started music in highschool by playing drum. He recorded his first album "Güller Açtı" in 1992. He has five albums. Their names are Güller Açtı, Garibim, Doğum günü, Ayna Buğusu, Ölsem de Kurtulsam (feat Enterasound). In 2000, he wrote his first book "Kiremit Uçuran". He has four books. Their names are Kiremit Uçuran, Kayıkhane Durgunu, Tile Blaster, Pera'da Yağmur.
In 1996, he formed a rock band "Ayna" with Cemil Özeren. They have ten albums. Their popular songs are Herşeyim Sensin, Ölünce Sevemezsem Seni, Gelincik, Bari Sen Unutma Beni.
