We do offer shorter stays, but only 3 weeks before a given date if it is still open. Until then, we have a one-week minimum, so try us 3 weeks before your date if you are only looking for a weekend stay and we are not yet at the 3-week mark.
Our price covers up to four adults, and dogs and cats (non-scratching/destroying/peeing ones, that is) are welcome. We do not allow more than four adults. We sometimes allow water-conserving families who have more than two kids or who want to bring a Grandma along; for this we charge the base price plus $15/peron/night.
The price scale starts over each Friday, so it is cheaper the longer you stay up until the next Friday. Nov – June, $350 for the first two nights and $80 for each additional night, $500 for first three nights on holidays, $200 a night for X-Mas and New Year’s. Jul-Oct -- $400 for first two nights and $100 for each additional night, $600 for three-day holiday weekends or $1100 for holiday weeks.
All fees are included. We don’t offer discounts except those we sometimes post on the site for longer stays.
We do not have wifi or a television, thank goodness! -- just a landline, a stereo with a radio and an ipod jack, and mountains and nature and clean air and birds and deer and bear sometimes passing through. There is free wifi in town at Sweet Sue’s and at the library. Cell phones do not work in our area.
If you are ready to book, I will prepare a rental agreement for you and send you a link to our reservation page; we do reservations through our secure server on our guesthouse website. We do not charge a damage deposit as long as you understand that your card would be charged for any major damages (e.g., your dog destroying the front door — normal daily wear like a glass breaking, etc., we of course do not charge for). Once we receive payment, we will e-mail you a packet full of guest information about the house and the area, including directions. It should answer all your questions, but you can feel free to call as well.
Because we get so many zillions of queries, we prefer to use e-mail to correspond until you are really ready to book.
