Flying Task

Quidditch is a wizarding sport played on broomsticks. It is the most popular game and most well-known game among wizards and witches, and, the equivalent to Muggles' passion for football. The object of the game is to score more points than your opponents. Each goal is worth ten points and catching the Snitch is worth one-hundred fifty points. The game ends when the Snitch is caught or an agreement is reached between the captains of both teams. Some games can go on for many days if the Snitch is not caught.

What we need to play Quidditch:

Each player must have a Broomstick between his legs. As protection they have to wear a Quidditch helmet, Goggles, Shin,Knee and Arm Guards and Gloves. Players have their own position which make that some of the players have other equipment. For example, Beaters carry bats and Keepers wear protective head and chestgear. Each player must wear the uniform of their team in an official match, so they can see who is with who. The game is played with three types of balls: the Golden Snitch,a Quaffle and a Bludger. And also a field and The three hooped goal posts for each team.

Player Positions:
- Beater, is a position in the Wizarding sport of Quidditch. There are two Beaters on every Quidditch team, and they are the only players on the pitch who have bats. Their job is to keep the Bludgers away from their team and at the same time try and aim the Bludgers towards the opposite team.
- Chaser, is a position in the wizarding sport of Quidditch. There are three Chasers per team. The Chasers control the Quaffle and attempt to get it through the goal hoops past the Keeper. Each goal is worth ten points. This makes them similar to the forwards in football, as the game is generally started with the Referee releasing the Quaffle into the air for the Chasers to try and claim possession of.
- Keeper is a position in the Wizarding sport of Quidditch. There is one Keeper per team, and it is their job to guard the three goal posts attempting to stop the other team's Chasers from scoring. The keeper also wears the most protection than any other position, which includes a helmet, shoulder/chest pads and knee pads. This effectively makes them heavier than most of their other team-mates.
- Seeker is a position in the wizarding sport of Quidditch. There is one Seeker per team. The goal of the Seeker is to catch the Golden Snitch. They play a crucial role in Quidditch, as a game does not end until the Seeker catches the Snitch. A team whose Seeker catches the Snitch receives 150 points, which almost always wins the match for that team.
