While filling out this part of the form something striked my mind. I didn't know if it was the right thing to write. I didn't know if it would impact my application in a good way or a bad way.

At the early days of my MUN journey (when i knew nothing about MUNs, not even the full form) we were given a task to conduct a MUN workshop for 200 people where we had to arrange everything without any help. That included bringing in the trainers and chairs for the mock MUN session. MUN was at a very primitive stage in Nepal at that time and the organisation I was involved in was looking forward to spread this impactful tool all over Nepal. We were short of trainers and there were a very few members who knew about MUN.

So as the situation demanded I took a role of one of the trainer and a chair for one of the committee in the mock session. This was my very first official MUN experience (unofficial was when i went as a technical support guy in a MUN conference). It was both amazing and akward thing for most of the people as I had to do it without any delegate experience. I was happy with how i did and so were our seniors in the organisation. Though this was a challenge we were made to undertake in the very first days as a prospective Organising committee members for EIMUN , I believe it was the moment that started providing me with lots of benefits as well as responsibilities in the MUN field of Nepal.

Silkway MUN has been known for it quality for all these years. Though I have worked as a integral part of the Organising committee for International MUNs here in Nepal, this would be my first time going for an international MUN abroad. I believe Silkway will not just benifit me personally on so many levels but will also add a responsibility on my shoulder to continue doing impactful things in the global society as a youth citizen
