tc- over the inter war years there were many good and bad things that defined canada as a proud independent nation.
some of these things were the pearsons cause, the economic boom (the roaring twenties) and the great depression

good- one of the greatest feats during the inter war period was the pearsons cause. brought the issues of women participating in politcs to a head. although women could vote notionaly they could not provincialy and were not considereard a pearsons by law. 5 women known as the famus five tried to change this, they finaly got the support of the judical commitee in 1929. set an example for all the nations, proved canada to be a excepting free country

good- the roring twenties was a great time. the econamy was at a all time high and was still rising. people could aforrd many luxieries and more leisure time. increased mobility . (fun times). canada was on the world stage with its economy doing so well. people no longer saw canada as a bunch of colonies but as a strong thriving nation cappable of handling its own affairs.




bad- unforunatly with every boom theres a bust. after the economic boom the great depression
