Nama ilmiah: Dendrolagus pulcherrimus
Merupakan sub-spesies dari kanguru pohon yang hanya bisa ditemukan di pegunungan pulau Irian.
Populasinya ditemukan di Pegunungan Foja, Papua, Indonesia.
Deskripsi fisik:
- Berambut halus pendek dan berwarna coklat muda.
- Bagian leher, pipi dan kakinya berwarna kekuningan.
- Bagian bawah perut terlihat lebih pucat dengan dua garis keemasan di punggungnya.
- Berekor panjang, namun tidak prehensil dengan lingkaran-lingkaran terang.

Nama ilmiah: Dendrolagus goodfellowi
Kanguru ini ditemukan di hutan montane yang tinggi dan subalpine semak belukar di Puncak Sudirman.
Deskripsi fisik:
- Postur tubuh yang lebih besar dibandingkan kanguru-pohon mantel-emas dan berwarna coklat dengan garis putih pada perutnya.
- Mempunyai bulu hitam dengan kombinasi putih di bagian dadanya.

Nama ilmiah: Dendrolagus ursinus
Kangguru ini lebih dikenal dengan sebutan kanguru-pohon wakera.

- Berbulu pendek
- Telinga dan ekor panjang berwarna hitam.
