Ha llovido mucho desde los instaladores de Windows 3.11 en disquet y 95/98/XP en CD. Hoy en día, Windows 8 necesita un DVD como soporte, y como los tiempos cambian, ahora también es posible instalarlo desde un lápiz o pendrive.
Antes de ejecutar Windows 8 USB DVD Download Tool necesitarás:
Microsoft .NET Framework 2
Microsoft Image Mastering API 2 (IMAPI)
Modo de uso:
> Después de descargar e instalar la herramienta, se te pedirá que seleccione la ruta en la que ha almacenado Windows 8 archivo ISO.
> Proporcione la ruta del archivo ISO y haga clic en "Siguiente". Ahora te preguntará si quieres crear unidad USB de arranque o DVD. Haga clic en el botón deseado. Si selecciona "Dispositivo USB", se te pedirá que inserte el dispositivo USB. Si el dispositivo USB es compatible, sera detectado automáticamente por la herramienta.
> Haga clic en "Iniciar copia". Ahora se le pedirá formatear el dispositivo USB. Aceptar la confirmación.
> Eso es todo. La herramienta comenzará a copiar los archivos de instalación al dispositivo USB. Cuando acabe,mostrara un mensaje de "dispositivo USB de arranque creado con éxito".
Solo queda para instalar Windows 8 iniciar el PC desde la unidad USB. Si tu PC es antiguo posiblemente no tengas esa opcion de arranque, a la que se accede entrando en la Bios, y que puede variar el pulsar una tecla u otra dependiendo del modelo del fabricante.
