Kejadian saat Voldemort di bunuh oleh Harry Potter. Di depan kastil Hogwarts dan di depan banyak orang. Mereka sempat kontak sihir, Harry berwarna merah dan Voldemort berwarna hijau. Dan Harry sempat diikat dengan sihir Voldemort, tapi Harry bisa lepas. Harry berkata bahwa mungkin saja Voldemort bukan pemilik tongkat sihir Elder walaupun Voldemort telah membunuh Snape. Voldemort marah dan hendak menjatuhkan Harry di tempat dimana Dumbledore jatuh, tapi mereka jatuh bersama. Harry memberitahu bahwa Dracolah yang membunuh Dumbledore, saat itu Voldemort akan membunuh Draco, tapi Harry berkata bahwa Draco telah dilucuti tongkatnya oleh Harry, maka Harrylah yang menjadi pemilik tongkat sihir Elder. Voldemort marah dan me-Avada Kedavra si Harry, tapi tongkat tak akan mencelakai pemiliknya, tongkat super sakti itu berbalik menyerang Voldemort dan mati. Harry menangkap tongkat sihir Elder yang terlempar dari tangan Voldemort. Jasad Voldemort disimpan di Aula besar, saat orang-orang bilang untuk membakar dan menghancurkannya, Harry menolaknya dan berkata bahwa Voldemort harus dikuburkan secara benar namun jauh dari para pejuang Hogwarts yang mati melawannya.
