In 1776, the U.S. declared its independence from the English empire. Many act(s) were being proclaimed. The road to revolution created resistance from Great Britain and its king which ended in tragic events. Even though England was against the independence, U.S. declare its independence from England because U.S. doesn't want to be govern by England and its king and act(s) were being proclaimed.
Today I finally finish school, I’m finally graduating and getting my Bachelor of Science in Hotel and Restaurant Management. This degree is pretty common for a teenager who doesn’t want to have a future in the medical field like nursing which is the very most common degree here in the Philippines. I didn’t want to follow my brother or my cousins’ footsteps because everyone is doing the same thing which is nursing, I want to follow my own thing and do something different. When I was a kid people would ask what we wanted to be when we grow up, I would say, “A nurse or a doctor.” I just said what they wanted to hear. I saw what my brother has been through being a nurse and it was rough. But I was thankful for my parents even though they had a different expectation for me, they supported me all the way to do what I wanted. I guess I have the best understanding parents ever! I picked Hotel and Restaurant management because I remember my cousin and I would play pretend and we would be chefs, restaurant owners etc. We had so much fun that we would play for hours.
