another insight: a seller was changing the selling price more than once a day which could mean different prices visible to the user within the same day from the same seller.
Resolution: talked to the seller, turned out that he was testing the portal as he was new.
Strategy:
Solution to reduce mass default or default risk and channel revenues directly to SD account and not through seller.
SD's O2O margins were less than the classic model so sellers would want to sell through o2o rather than the classic model (because logistics cost was not being borne by SD)
sellers generally have staff that delivers products to customers home so not additional resources required on seller's side
Initially, sellers would have to maintain a minimum account balance with SD as a safety deposit
if they are ab;e to convert majority of their sales to FC tranx on delivery then safety deposit not required
so sellers would have the motivation to convince the customer
as FC transactions increase, this would increase FC's customer base which was an organization wide objective which means that different teams irrespective of the project or initiative they are working for were advised to accommodate FC's objective with their own.
