Pengenalan charm.

Mantra dapat membuat benda berubah warna, menyebabkan sebuah obyek melayang atau bahkan terbang di udara. Mantra bisa membuat seseorang tertawa, menari, atau bahkan membuat gelembung udara di kepala seseorang. Charm sendiri merupakan jenis sihir yang menyebabkan objek untuk berperilaku tidak normal. Sebagai contoh yaitu Wingardium Leviosa (mantra untuk membuat benda/sesuatu melayang) kata 'Wingardium' berasal dari kata “wing” (bahasa inggris) yang berarti sayap atau terbang dan“aardus” (bahasa latin) yang berarti tinggi. Leviosa berasal dari kata “levis” (bahasa latin) yang berarti cahaya." "Leviosa ini kemungkinan juga berasa dari kata “levitate” (bahasa inggis) yang berarti terbang. "Jadi, Wingardium Leviosa adalah mantra untuk membuat objek terbang atau melayang di udara. dilafalkan 'Wing-GAR-di-um Le-vi-o-sa' gerakan tongkat mengayun dan sentakkan
2. Curse
Curse atau kutukan. Jenis mantra dengan efek paling negatif. Kutukan digunakan dengan maksud menyebabkan kerusakan, kontrol, atau bahkan kematian korban.
