Notes

I sit down and watch the little white fluffs floating down from the sky. This was my first time seing snow and it looked just as beautiful as mommy had said it would be. She had said that when feathers from angel wings fell, they would turn into snow.
 
" It isn't as breathtaking a sight as seeing an angel itself, but it posesses the same beautiful grace and glory." Mommy's eyes were shining as she said it, they hadn't looked sad, but she hadn't seemed happy either. I held my tongue out, tasting the snow. It tasted sweet in a way, but not the sweet in the way cookies or cake tasted. They were a different kind of sweet. I gathered some to the sparking flurries in my hand and bolted from the patio to the backyard. I ran through the entire house in my snow covered boots; I wanted mommy to taste the snow. I opened the slidding door to the backyard and froze, dropping the snow onto the carpet. A gasp escaped my lips, breaking the slience. The winds seemed bone chillingly cold now,and I couldn't find my voice. The white wonderland that was forming didn't matter because what I saw now made the sweet tasting snow feel poisonous... muderous...
