To add even more fuel to her fire, one of her friends beyond the mat, and another challenger for the Women's title had retired. Instead of her, Charlotte was granted a place in the title picture, without even having to work for it. More obvious than ever, the champion was mad; but knew exactly what it took to defeat Charlotte, and more so, what it took to beat Maryse. Lita had put Charlotte on the shelf once, and she was ready to do it once more, if the two were to face off against one another. Maryse; she was an easy beat, and nobody was going to tell Lita otherwise. The champion could simply not stand the idea that the internet darling and management favourite in Charlotte Flair was back, and already thinking that she deserves a shot at what Lita had earned. To say that she was delusional, would be an absolute understatement. It was no secret that Lita had hated the self-proclaimed Genetically Superior Diva ever since walking into the door. Not only was she given chances that others deserved way more than her, but she didn't earn them one bit. Especially due to how much of an embarassment she was as a champion. When her reign finally came to an end, Lita was sure that the Hell in a Cell match really put the female on the shelf. Nothing was going to break the titleholder's spirit, not even a former rival, who had returned only to be beaten up and destroyed by a better-than-ever version of the Women's Champion.
