Dear Celia,
I am excited to ingratiate you with the following analysis of the ethical issues surrounding the consumption of various meat products, namely, chicken and occasionally turkey. The discussion about the decision to eat animals, or to not eat animals, is an interesting one. In many ways, there is no definite answer to the question of whether to consume meat products or not. People draw the line of immorality at various places (carnivorous, omnivorous, vegetarian, vegan, all-organic, etc.). Some, for example, consider the murder and consumption of animals to be wrong, but not the consumption of products derived from animals. Others consider the conditions under which animals produce eggs or milk to be horrifying, and thus choose to adopt a vegan lifestyle. However, when it is possible to examine the ethics of animal consumption AND how those ethics conform to the morality of a certain individual, one can discern a general answer to the question for that person in particular. In the following few paragraphs, I will examine the ethics of animal consumption and how they conform to your standards and morality as an individual. If any assumptions I have made about your character prove incorrect, I will discuss the issues with you and reconcile them in conversations. I hope you enjoy and keep an open mind.
