Süper Lig'de Gençlerbirliği kulübünün başkanlığını yapan İlhan Cavcav, Ahmet Çalık ile Galatasaray arasındaki transferin gerçekleşmediğini duyurdu.
Gençlerbirliği başkanı İlhan Cavcav, Galatasaray ile Ahmet Çalık için yapılan transfer görüşmelerin sonuç vermediğini ve oyuncuyu Galatasaray'a vermeyeceğini söyleyen İlhan Cavcav çok sert çıkıştığı öğrenildi.
Sarı-kırmızılılar Ahmet Çalık için Gençlerbirliği'ne 3 milyon euro önerdi. Gençlerbirliği Başkanı Ahmet Çalık için 4 milyon euro isterken görüşmelerde transfer için 3,5 milyon euro'ya kadar indi. Galatasaray 3 milyon Euro'da diretince Gençlerbirliği başkanı İlhan Cavcav transferin çıkmaz yola girdiği ve transferin gerçekleşmeyeceğini söyledi. İlhan Cavcav konuyla ilgili A Spor'a şu açıklamaları yaptı;
" Galatasaray ile görüştük " bitti diyen İlhan Cavcav " 3 milyon euro da 4 milyon euro'da verseler biz bu oyuncuyu İstanbul'a Galatasaray'a göndermeyeceğiz. Beşiktaş'ta oyuncu için devrede değil. Galatasaray'a her hangi bir kırgınlığım söz konusu değil. İkinci görüşmede yine konuştuk. İstediğimiz rakamı vermediler,görüşme sona erdi. " ifadelerini kullandı.
