Displacement of an object = net distance from its starting point with an indication of direction
Velocity = speed + direction
A force arises from an interaction between two objects.
Both objects will experience an equal force and this is called an interaction pair.
Friction - Two surfaces slide because each surface experiences a force in the direction that prevents relative movement.
Reaction of the surface = object pushes down on surface + surface pushes up on the object with an equal and opposite force.
Friction and reactions of surfaces are always a response of a force and matches it up to a limit.
Resultant force = sum of all forces

Bike or car - Driving Force = made by engine or cyclist
- Counter Force = Friction and Air resistance
Collisions - the longer the duration of the impact, the smaller the average force for a given change of momentum.
Kinetic Energy = energy of a moving object.
When a force moves an object, it does work.
Energy transfers to the object.
An objects kinetic energy will be less than the work done because some energy is dissapated through heat because of friction and air resistance.
Energy is always conserved.
