敦賀原発 日本原電"納得できない"
国の原子力規制委員会の専門家会議が「断層が活断層の可能性がある」という判断を示した福井県の敦賀原子力発電所について、事業者の日本原子力発電は、追加調査の現場を公開し、「『活断層だ』と判断したことは納得できない」と改めて主張しました。
敦賀原発では、２号機の北およそ３５０メートルにある断層の調査現場で、地層を円筒状にくり抜く「ボーリング調査」の様子が公開されました。
敦賀原発を巡っては、先月、国の原子力規制委員会の島崎邦彦委員と専門家の５人が現地を調査したうえで評価会合を開き、「断層は活断層で２号機の真下を走っている可能性がある」という判断を示しています。
日本原子力発電の担当者は、先月、島崎委員や専門家が「活断層の可能性がある」とした現場を指し示しながら説明し、「今の段階で『活断層だ』と判断したことは納得できない」と改めて主張したうえで、「追加のボーリング調査でデータを集め、活断層ではないことを示したい」と話しました。日本原子力発電は、来月中に調査結果をまとめ、規制委員会に報告するとしています。
一方、規制委員会は、専門家会議が今月２８日にもまとめる報告書を受けて結論を出す方針で、「運転再開を認めない」という最終判断をすると、去年の９月の発足以来初めて原発の運転を制限することになります。
敦賀原発２号機は、運転が再開できないと廃炉になる可能性もあり、規制委員会の判断が注目されています。
