day 3: wake up early in big bend, river trip, drive through west texas ghost towns/marfa, to guadalupe mountains national park, camp out
day 4: hike to the highest point in texas, then have fun in the park
day 5: drive to carlsbad caverns national park, see the caverns, drive to white sands national monument, get lunch in NM, see white sands and camp out
day 6: drive to el paso, get lunch in el paso, drive to tucson, sleep at hotel in tucson
day 7: wake up, see saguaro national park, drive through phoenix for lunch, drive to joshua national park, camp out at joshua tree national park
day 8: wake up, drive to palm springs aerial tramway, hike to mt. san jacinto peak, get lunch, drive to los angeles, sleep at nurko's friends house in los angeles
day 9: turn up in los angeles
day 10: drive highway 1 with stops in santa barbara and wine country to big sur, go to the buddhist monastery at the tassajara hot springs, sleep at a hotel in big sur
day 11: drive highway 1 with stops in carmel, monterey, santa cruz, to san francisco
day 12: turn up in san francisco
day 13: drive to yosemite national park, see mariposa grove of giant sequoias, camp out at park near half dome
day 14: hike half dome, camp out at park
day 15: drive to death valley national park, camp out at death valley national park
day 16: drive through red rock canyon national conservation area to las vegas, turn up in las vegas, sleep at hotel in las vegas
day 17: drive to grand canyon national park, hike around the park (south rim), camp out at the park
day 18: drive to canyonlands national park through monument valley, hike the park and the slot canyons, drive to arches national park, camp out at arches national park
day 19: see arches national park, drive to black canyon of the gunnison national park, hike around some of black canyon of the gunnison national park, drive to crested butte, sleep at colin's
day 20: turn up in crested butte
day 21: drive crested butte to dallas
