Then copy the file from windows to cloudera
Open terminal by using the command:
mysql -u root -p
Enter password: cloudera.
Create database Mysql>create database name; Mysql>use name; Mysql>create table tablename(….);load the file Mysql>load data local infile ‘path of the file’ into table tablename fields terminated by ‘,’ enclosed by ‘”’ lines terminated by ‘rn’;
exit;
Importing the data from mysql to hive Sqoop import –connect jdbc:mysql//localhost/databasename --username root --password cloudera --table tablename --fields-terminated-by ’,’ --hive -import -m 1
Login to HUE-username:Cloudera
password:Cloudera
goto hive editor
On the leftside select the database
Rightside you can try some analytical queries on the tables which you have created
once the result is displayed
select some charts.
