These superstitions clearly werent supported by evidence
for them, that was okay.
Not because superstitions were backed up by science,
superstitions were, in a way,
their half-hearted scientific beliefs


Innovations and inventions propelled the technological standards of the average homeowner
allowing people to learn more about their world
and the mysteries it's drowned in,
eventually crumbling
many popular superstitions

students had mostly been satisfied to accept what Aristotle and other philosophers had said, without trying to prove their statement

Copernicus, Galileo, Kepler, Vesalius, Harvey, and their fellow workers came along and built up the scientific method. We now use this very method, over 400 years later...

Aside from science discproving some religious beliefs,

In fact many scientists had fallen victim to the charges of witchcraft or even mutiny towards the king,
