firstly to reply to your question, its not very realistic for all of them to enjoy the same activity what. so i dont think we need to consider that scenario. and even if so, i thought we separated engagement and volunteering sessions? so we can just use basketball to bond with the youths, then have other activities for volunteering such as food distribution etc (like the draw my life video we watched last thurs)

and if in the end, everyone likes different things, then isnt that better for us? we get a lot more suggestions to choose from and we can plan different activities each week also

then like i dont know what question you’re trying to think of in your mind, but the questions we had today were okay what.
Q1 School + CCA -> commitments + skills
Q2&3 Interests -> understanding them better
Q6 Wants -> planning for engagement sessions
Q4 If we were to have volunteering activities, would you be keen to help out? Why / Why not?
-> planning for volunteering sessions + leads to Q8 Motivations also
Q5 Availability -> scheduling
Q7 Needs -> understand their challenges

maybe there are better questions for all this but i feel like the ones we currently have are adequate? so i wouldnt say that today wasnt very productive what. at the heart of it, today was also a recce session to get to know them better and we did accomplish that? not to mention its our first session as well. we alr decided to have our review this saturday so we can further refine our questions then? and we only reached out to a handful today, too little to really judge anything yet what, we can still see how it goes this friday before coming to any conclusions

anne marie also didnt mention much about the questions? it was more to do with the phrasing, the order/flow, and conversation techniques, which will naturally come with more practice and experience?

overall i felt today was okay what, even stephanie said we did well. and i just want to say thanks bah for not doing the whole default scribe and speaker thing. i couldnt have done it alone. and honestly, you’re really adept at balancing both the conversation and the project questions bah idk thats from my pov

anyway sorry for the long message, i just felt like i needed to clear my thoughts even though they may not be worth much. see you on friday
