A date that is reasonable and logical
A salutation such as “Dear Mama and Papa” or “Dear Sister”.
A brief description of the writer’s environment - work or home, city or country.
At least three observations or inferences from your analysis of the photo.
At least two pieces of information from your History Alive! textbook about their experiences in America so far.
At least two emotions or feelings that the writer has experienced.
An appropriate closing such as “With much love,” or “Sincerely”
An address that includes the name, street address, city, state, zip code and country. (this does not have to be an actual address, but must follow the format).
On the front of the postcard, create an illustration that accurately reflects some of the information from the postcard.
The illustration should be representative of the location where the writer has been or is currently. (Example: an illustration of the Chicago skyline, if you believe that the writer is in Chicago or has been to Chicago).
The illustration should be original and be in color.
