Our minimum booking time is 3 hours. In the event that your cleaning is completed to your satisfaction and the cleaner is sent away before then, we don't refund any time below 3 hours.

The minimum number of hours that is able to booked for a general cleaning for is 3 hours. Unless you're on a grandfathered plan and the 2 hour cleaning was generated as part of your cleaning plan. All one-time bookings are subject to the 3 hour minimum. This is because we received widespread feedback from professionals in the field that the majority of cleaning which were being booked under our previous 2 hour minimum could not be completed in that amount of time.

When you were completing your first booking, it had you check a box with the following statement, 'By clicking the button below, I understand that I am purchasing a recurring cleaning service subject to Handy's Terms of Use and Cancellation Policy and my payment method will be charged before each cleaning.'

Additionally, there is a link to our FAQs, including 'what is your plan cancellation policy?' which answers 'Each cleaning plan requires a minimum commitment term. Cancelling your plan before the minimum term is complete, will result in a $99 fee'.

Generally, courtesy reminders are given by text and email. Email reminders are sent out 48 hours before the booking. Text reminders are sent out 2 hours before the booking is scheduled. If you aren't receiving these reminders, it may be in your spam folder. We recommend frequently checking your Handy account to keep track of all upcoming bookings.

We would be happy to schedule a make-up booking to finish the job. If you'd like a redo booking, please reply back to this email with a new time and date of the new booking. We just need a 24 hour notice to schedule the booking.
